She made her debut on The CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut was with a part in Girl 6 in 1996. She went on to star in New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo played on Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the next year. From 2001 until 2004 Navedo appeared in a variety of roles on the NBC crime series Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. In the following years, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo has also been in numerous films like El Cantante and Remember Me.
